Connecting Your Marketplace Accounts

This article covers the basic steps to linking your marketplace accounts.

Updated over 2 months ago

Before You Get Started

Browsers

  • When using Foxtail in the browser, you must use Google Chrome with the Foxtail extension to connect your markets. This is essential for full functionality.

eBay Listings

  • When an eBay listing is imported or created using Foxtail, that listing can only be managed in the Foxtail app and/or eBay's seller portal in the browser. eBay listings created with Foxtail cannot be managed in the eBay app.

Connecting A Marketplace

Go to the Accounts tab by clicking on the Settings icon. Select Manage marketplace connections.

Click on a marketplace you would like to connect to your account.

A window will open, prompting you to log into your account.

After connecting your account, you can continue connecting more markets or return home.

Notes & Troubleshooting:

  • Each marketplace has its own set of requirements for connection. You can learn more in the article: Marketplace Setup and Requirements.

  • Currently, only eBay supports login using Google, Apple or Facebook authentication. All other marketplaces require you to login with a username and password. Creating a password will not affect your ability to use Google, Facebook, or Apple authentication outside of Foxtail. To learn more, check out this article: Do I need a username and password to connect?

Disconnecting your account

You can disconnect your marketplace account at any time by hitting the three dots beside the platform.

From the pop-up menu, choose Sign out.

What's the Expected Time for Connecting a Market?

Connecting a market typically requires up to 10 minutes.
