This guide will show you how to create, edit, and delete listings on Foxtail. You can choose to create your listing manually or use Foxtail's AI to speed things up.

Visit the Listings tab and tap the "+" button in the top right corner.

Choose Create listing.

Select the marketplaces where you want to sell your item. If you don't see the marketplace(s) you want, check out our article connecting your marketplace accounts. If Foxtail does not yet support the marketplace you want to see; send us a message! We're continually building new marketplace connections and features based on user requests.

Upload Photos: Tap "Add Photos" to select photos from your device.

Foxtail users can upload up to 24 photos per listing. However, but note that each marketplace has its own photo upload limitations. If you exceed these limits, only the allowed number of photos will be displayed on the platform. To learn more about photo limitations for each marketplace, please consult our article: How Many Photos Can I Upload?

Choose a Covershot: This is the main photo buyers see. Use the Select Covershot button to choose your covershot.

Edit Photos (Optional): You can crop, resize, tilt, and rotate photos along with applying a variety of filters. When you are happy with your image, click the yellow checkmark in the upper right-hand corner to continue.

Located above the Price field, you have the option to Optimize your listing. This tool helps you set a competitive price that attracts buyers and boosts your chances of a quick sale.

When you click the Optimize button, Foxtail analyzes market trends, similar listings, and platform-specific insights to suggest a price range that can maximize your earnings while minimizing the time your item spends unsold.

You can choose to save a draft of your listing at any time. Choose Continue to move on to the Marketplace-specific criteria for your post.

You can autofill details with AI or enter them manually. See below for instructions for each.

Foxtail's AI will automatically generate details like category, weight, color, condition, description, and tags for each marketplace you selected. Be sure to review everything before publishing, as AI-generated content may not be perfect.

Once you're happy with everything, tap "Post" to publish your listing on the marketplaces you chose.

On the second page of listing creation, fill in marketplace-specific criteria for each platform where you want to post your listing. Each marketplace is different and may require information like your item's category, weight, color, and condition.

Even when filling in listing details manually, you can create a description using AI-generated content if you wish. Keep in mind that AI-generated content may not always be perfect, so we encourage users to review it. You can manually edit all AI-generated content, or hit the Clear button to start over.

Please note: descriptions must be a minimum of 5 words.

Even when filling in listing details manually, you can create tags for your posting manually, using AI-generated content, or both. To manually create or change tags, click the right arrow button.

After adding any tags manually, be sure to hit the return key to finish creating your new tag.

You can choose to save a draft of your listing at any time. Otherwise, choose Post to publish your listing on the marketplaces of your choice.

Any eBay listings created with Foxtail can only be managed in the Foxtail app and/or eBay's seller portal in the browser.

Listings created using Foxtail can no longer be managed in the eBay app.

If you edit an eBay listing created with Foxtail to include eBay's Offer to Buyers feature, subsequent edits to that listing must be made directly from eBay in the browser.

Foxtail can not support modifications to any eBay listings with this feature enabled.

When you create a listing on eBay, Foxtail will create some default shipping profiles for you. You can use these or chose your own by using the optional field called "Shipping Policy" in the eBay section of the listing form.

If you have not already set up an eBay policy for shipping, you can do so in eBay's SellerHub under "Business Policies." The link will be something like: https://www.ebay.com/bp/manage. You are able to create as many different shipping policies as you see fit, and sync them in Foxtail to choose whichever ones you want to use.

You can edit an active listing at any time.

To edit a single listing, simply tap on the three dots by the listing you'd like to edit.

Choose the Edit active listing option to proceed.

After you make changes, tap the Update button, and your changes will migrate to the marketplace.

You can delete an active listing at any time. Tap on the three dots by the listing you'd like to delete.

Choose the Delete option to proceed.

Deleted listings will move from Foxtail's Active tab, to the Deleted tab.

You can recreate a deleted post by tapping the three dots by the listing, then choosing Copy as New.
